The Story
The Tattooist of Auschwitz is based on the true story of Lale and Gita Sokolov, two Slovakian Jews who survived Auschwitz. I have listened to this book about 4-5 times now. It's strange to say I love this story, but I do. It's so much love in it. So much courage. A very important story, respectfully written and it's read in a beautiful way.
There are so many better books put there about this topic. I know its historical fiction, but with such a heavy subject matter you really need to do your research, and it's quite obvious the author did not do this.
